The basics
This website is operated by Fieldnote Sound Inc., 481 Van Brunt St, Brooklyn, NY 11231, USA. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Product information and launch dates
We work to keep every description, specification and launch date on this site accurate. Prices are not published until ordering opens; dates shown before then are our current plan and may change. Joining the launch list is not an order and creates no obligation for you or for us; no payment is taken until you place an order after sales open.
Orders and payment (once available)
When ordering opens, an order is accepted when we send a shipping confirmation. Prices will be shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where we are required to collect it. We may cancel and refund an order if a product becomes unavailable, if a pricing error occurred, or if we suspect fraud.
Shipping, returns and refunds
Our shipping and returns policy is part of these terms. In short: we ship to all 50 US states, and unused products can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
Warranty
Product warranties are described on each product's page and on the FAQ. Warranty claims are handled by email at [email protected]. To the extent permitted by law, the warranty stated for a product is the only warranty we give, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under the laws of your state that cannot be waived.
Your account and conduct
You agree to give us accurate information, to use the site only for lawful purposes, and not to interfere with its operation or attempt to access data that isn't yours.
Content and trademarks
The text, photographs, illustrations and the Fieldnote Sound name and marks on this site belong to Fieldnote Sound Inc. or are used under license. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without written permission. Stock photography is credited on our photo credits page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable US federal law. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Brooklyn, NY, except that you may bring a claim in small-claims court where you live.
